The Lamborghini Temerario brings 920 horsepower and 2.7-second 62-mph runs to Dubai Police, yet it serves visibility and tourist engagement instead of highway pursuits.
Dubai Police has a new vehicle in its tourist-patrol lineup. The Lamborghini Temerario joins the fleet through a partnership with Lamborghini Abu Dhabi and Dubai, putting a hybrid supercar on duty near the city’s busiest attractions.
The Temerario is a twin-turbocharged V8 paired with three electric motors good for 920 horsepower. Dubai Police says the goal is visibility and engagement, not pursuit work.

Dubai Police confirmed the Temerario as part of its luxury patrol program, a fleet that puts eye-catching cars where tourists and residents already gather. The Temerario now sits alongside other exotic machinery the force has collected over the years for that exact purpose.
Brigadier Saeed Al Hajri, director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, called the fleet “an innovative approach to policing, combining an effective security presence with community and tourist engagement.”
Colonel Mohammad Abdulrahman Abdulwahid, who runs the Tourist Police Department, said the force stays focused on “adopting initiatives that reflect Dubai’s leadership and unique character.” His department deploys these vehicles at major tourist destinations and other heavily visited spots, where officers interact directly with the public.
Martino Picotti, general manager of Lamborghini Abu Dhabi and Dubai, framed the handover as a continuation of an existing relationship, tying the deal to the brand’s broader presence in the region. “Our ongoing partnership with Dubai Police reflects the strong relationship between Lamborghini and the United Arab Emirates,” he said.
The numbers explain why this car draws a crowd faster than a patrol SUV ever could. The Temerario’s twin-turbo V8 works with three electric motors to produce its full output. The hybrid system is what pushes the total past 900 horsepower.
Lamborghini lists 0 to 62 mph in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 213 mph, with a front e-axle and P1 motor assisting the V8 for a combined 920 horsepower.
Dubai’s exotic patrol fleet already includes machinery like the Mansory Ferrari 812 Superfast, and the Temerario slots into that same tradition of using supercars as rolling attractions. The strategy uses spectacle so people feel comfortable approaching officers.
