The AMB 002 Roadster, built with Brough Superior in a 300-unit run, brings Aston Martin design and engineering to a road-legal superbike.

Aston Martin has never put its wings on a motorcycle you could ride to the shops until now. The AMB 002 Roadster changes that, and Brough Superior builds it as a partner.

The two companies had already made track-only machines together, the AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro. This new bike is the first one you can register, insure, and ride on public roads.

Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s chief creative officer, said building a road bike had been a long-term goal after the track-only pair showed what the partnership could do. The AMB 002 Roadster is that idea adapted for public streets.

Production is capped at 300 motorcycles, each one hand-built rather than assembled on a line. Aston Martin expects first customer deliveries in the third quarter of 2027, so buyers have roughly a year to wait.

Thierry Henriette, president of Brough Superior, called the bike truly one of a kind, in both its design and its riding experience. Stefano Saporetti, who oversees Aston Martin’s brand diversification, described the project as proof that the collaboration has matured into a strong luxury partnership.

Design details borrow visibly from Aston’s car lineup, with surfacing cues that echo the Vanquish, Valkyrie, and Valhalla. Buyers who already collect the marque’s road cars get a two-wheeled object that fits the same family look.

The bike uses an entirely new 1,083 cubic centimeter four-stroke, water-cooled V-twin, engineered from scratch rather than adapted from an existing Brough unit. It produces 130 hp and 81 lb-ft of torque, which puts it firmly in serious superbike territory.

The whole machine weighs just 419 pounds, with a 50:50 weight distribution that Aston Martin says was a core engineering target from day one. Nothing on the AMB 002 Roadster is a carryover part. Chassis, engine, and running gear were all designed from a blank sheet specifically for road use.

The chassis is a titanium frame weighing only 11 pounds, an unusually light structure for a bike built to handle real-world roads rather than a closed circuit. Up front, the AMB 002 uses a double-wishbone Fior fork setup instead of a conventional telescopic fork, a system more often seen on experimental race machinery than showroom bikes.

Aston Martin presents the result as a bike tuned for enjoyment on the road rather than lap times on a track, which separates it from the AMB 001 Pro. Order books are open now, and the 300-unit run is expected to go to the same collector base already chasing limited machinery like the Valiant hypercar Fernando Alonso helped develop.
