CM Labs Simulations has plenty of experience creating simulation-based training solutions for the construction industry. Now, the company has dropped the Intellia Workforce Training System — a workforce development solution that standardizes, manages, and scales simulation-based operator training. Attendees at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 can experience the new system in the North Hall at booth #N11893.

As construction organizations face growing pressure to train more operators with fewer resources, many are struggling with disconnected tools, inconsistent outcomes, and limited visibility into training performance.

The Intellia Workforce Training System manages the full simulation training lifecycle with benefits for all stakeholders across a training organization:

To further support training programs as they scale, and as part of CM Labs' broader strategy to leverage AI to deliver greater training value and empower instructors and trainees, the Intellia Workforce Training System introduces an AI Assistant within the training environment.

Launching initially with the tracked excavator simulation curriculum and demonstrated live at CONEXPO booth #N11839, the AI Assistant provides contextual support to instructors and apprentices by answering questions about exercises, objectives, and system functionality during training. Designed to work alongside both trainees and instructors, the AI Assistant takes on routine questions and tasks, reducing manual overhead, helping keep sessions moving, and allowing instructors to focus on coaching, evaluation, and higher-value instruction.

Designed for organizations scaling professional simulation-based training programs, the Intellia Workforce Training System supports consistent, accountable training with measurable results. By integrating curriculum, training management, simulators, and AI-assisted support into a single system, CM Labs enables safer, more efficient, and more predictable operator development.

"Construction training teams are being asked to do more to solve the labor shortage with less, without compromising safety or training quality," said Lisa Barbieri, vice president of marketing and strategic relationships at CM Labs. "The Intellia Workforce Training System brings structure, visibility, and consistency to operator training, helping organizations reduce risk, and scale their programs with confidence."
