Building on the proven performance of its predecessor, the new DEVELON DA45-7 articulated dump truck (ADT) features a redesigned cabin made to enhance operator productivity, comfort, and safety through advanced automation and intuitive technology.

"The most significant update from the previous DA45-5 to the new DA45-7 ADT is a completely reimagined interior layout," says Jay Patel, product manager at DEVELON. "The truck's interior transitioned from a traditional heavy-equipment feel to a high-end, automotive-inspired environment."

DEVELON has simplified ADT operation on job sites with the new Auto-Hold brake function for hill assist.

This new feature provides several key benefits:

DEVELON also updated the parking brake switch in the new DA45-7. The updated control more closely resembles an automotive-style parking brake. Operators pull the lever up to activate the truck's parking brake. When operators are ready to move the truck, they press down the lever to deactivate it.

The new DA45-7 ADT comes standard with a 12-inch touch-screen display monitor. This upgraded interface provides operators with a larger, clearer view of critical machine data, status updates, and settings. Positioned at eye level, the monitor allows operators to view machine data, gradients, and camera feeds without looking down or away from the area in front of them.

Real-time monitoring includes the following:

The DA45-7 maintains the mechanical design that DEVELON ADTs are known for, including:

DEVELON ADTs come standard with MY DEVELON fleet management (telematics). Owners can use a smartphone app or web browser to remotely monitor their ADTs for fuel usage, machine health, operator productivity, and more. Owners can use the telematics tool to monitor an ADT's active payload meter data to verify that trucks are consistently filled without being overloaded, which protects the machine from excessive wear.
