Dynapac's 16-ton asphalt roller category has been reignited with the launch of the all-new CC7000 VI, the company's heaviest asphalt roller to date with an operating weight exceeding 32,000 pounds.

Built for demanding large-scale applications, the CC7000 VI is engineered to deliver high compaction results while maximizing productivity. Fitted with Dynapac's patented Seismic Asphalt technology, the roller will automatically adjust the vibration frequency in real time based on material stiffness, ensuring optimal compaction, reduced energy consumption, and lower operating costs, all while operator comfort is improved from less shaking and reduced noise.

"Dynapac is excited to reenter the 16-ton classification with a machine that pushes the boundaries of performance and efficiency," said Eric Booth, product marketing manager — Compaction. "The CC7000 VI reflects our commitment to innovation and to delivering equipment that meets today's toughest job site requirements."

The CC7000 VI is built on Dynapac's decades of compaction experience, drawing design inspiration from models such as the CC722 and CC7200, as well as the company's high-performance soil rollers. Its newly engineered drums offer a high static linear load— up to 211 pli — ensuring the roller can withstand harsh application conditions with ease.

Like all Dynapac asphalt rollers, the CC7000 VI is designed with the operator in mind. The intuitive operator station features a rotating and sliding seat with controls and a display that move seamlessly with the operator, offering excellent visibility and ergonomic operation throughout the compaction process. A large-capacity water tank further enhances productivity by minimizing refill downtime.

Dynapac's Seismic Asphalt, a patented technology, is available on tandem, oscillation, and pivot-steer asphalt rollers. It automatically harmonizes vibration frequency with the natural frequency of the asphalt layer. Key benefits include:

This innovation contributes to a more sustainable, consistent, and cost-effective roadbuilding workflow.
