Metso is expanding its Lokotrack mobile crushing portfolio with two new models. The Lokotrack LT400RS mobile impact crusher, part of the Lokotrack EC Range, is designed for demanding aggregate recycling and demolition applications, while the Lokotrack LT200HPX mobile cone crusher delivers efficient aggregate production with integrated screening in a compact mobile package.

As urban development and infrastructure renewal increase, construction and demolition waste is becoming a growing material stream. Materials such as concrete, asphalt, and mixed demolition waste require different processes and equipment than quarry rock. Rebar, wood, and other contaminants vary in quality and damage machines; the LT400RS is engineered to meet these challenges. As part of Metso's diesel-electric Lokotrack EC Range, the LT400RS helps recycling contractors process demanding waste materials more efficiently while reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

The Lokotrack LT200HPX is a versatile mobile cone crusher designed for reliable aggregate production. A 2-deck pre-screen and a large 2-deck product screen (5.6 square metres) provide efficient screening in a single track-mounted package, while wide conveyors enable stable material flow and high capacity. The direct crusher drive improves fuel efficiency, and smart folding functions simplify transport and maintenance.

The Lokotrack LT400RS, a new 70-tonne diesel-electric mobile impact crusher, combines high crushing and screening performance with the mobility to relocate quickly from site to site. It helps recycling contractors increase productivity, improve material separation, and reduce operating costs, while enabling lower emissions.

The Lokotrack LT400RS, part of the Metso Plus offering, supports more sustainable and efficient aggregates operations by improving productivity and reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

Both new products are compatible with Metso digital services, including Production Performance and AI-powered Predictive Maintenance, helping customers optimize production, plan maintenance more proactively, and maximize uptime.

"The launch of the LT400RS and LT200HPX further strengthens our Lokotrack offering by bringing customers purpose-built solutions for two important applications: recycling and aggregate production. The new models help customers improve productivity, lower their cost per tonne and maintain high uptime. Backed by Metso's strong aftermarket offering and global support network, they help customers get the most out of their investment throughout the equipment lifetime," says Jarmo Vuorenpää, vice president of Track Solutions at Metso.
